the development and management of all the Phases of the Project
DESALINATION
LDesalination plants are facilities whose purpose is to obtain potable water from sea or brackish water, particularly necessary in countries and geographic zones where there is difficulty in accessing water suitable for consumption.
As water experts, and aware of this need and the increasing scarcity of water resources, at Tecexsa we have developed a new technology that has made us a worldwide point of reference for physicochemical pre-treatment.
This is our new system, DAF: DESALFLOAT, a novel system that provides an effective solution for desalination.
URBAN WASTE WATERS
Urban Waste Waters contain organic and inorganic contaminants – dissolved and suspended – that must be separated for the water to be discharged according to strict environmental regulations. Treatment processes include physicochemical systems, as well as biological processes.
For decades, research efforts and technologies were focused on developing biological treatments. However, there has been growing interest in the past few years in strengthening physicochemical treatment technologies, complementary to biological treatment. Specifically, technologies based on air flotation are the focus of research.
With our equipment ISOFLOAT and EXAFLOAT, we meet today’s demands, both for primary and for secondary treatment. With tertiary treatment, in addition to DAF systems, we include our Pressure Filters or Continuous Washing.
WATER RE-USE
Re-use is a critical process to recover water and prevent environmental degradation. It provides a new use other than direct discharge, encouraging industrial, economic and social development, in balance with its exploitation.
The paper sector, a clear example of a water-dependent industry, has critical water recovery needs for its production process. This is why, at TECEXSA, we have several projects both from the ISOFLOAT and from the EXAFLOAT lines, particularly adapted to their needs.
Additionally, we have developed the CLEARFLOAT model, which includes a floater and sand filter with sectorial cleaning, so we can offer complete solutions.
SLUDGE THICKENING
The purpose of these treatments is to reduce the volume of the contaminating discharge in the controlled dump, and mainly, to eliminate the volatile material. Although initially this may fall under the general Wastewater Treatment process, our equipment acts in its own right in this part of the process.
Thus, our equipment ISOFLOAT THICKENING both for metallic (IFE) and for Civil Works (IFOCE) are mainly applied to eliminate and concentrate suspended solids. The range of concentration of solids varies, although 5% thickening has been obtained, without chemical additives. The highest limit reached is 12%, with chemical additives.
